GRETTON COURT CELEBRATES 50 YEARS.
Originally developed to assist mainly retired academics, Gretton Court continues to provide a place of calm comfort and secure accommodation for those over the age of 55.
Set in three acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in the village of Girton, on the northern edge of Cambridge city, we offer a variety of 57 self-contained apartment sizes. These vary from studio flats to two bedroom flats, which are situated on 3 floors. We have just had one of the two lifts completely modernised, making it easily accessible for those in wheelchairs. The building was so designed that a majority of the flats face the garden, while some face the front for those who like to observe the comings and goings. A member of staff is always on duty on site. For those people who like gardening small plots are available to grow your own vegetables or flowers just as you like.
Gretton Court is run on a not-for-profit basis by a group of trustees, with all surplus income ploughed back into the building and its facilities.
